A New Print Screen program included now with my software, works better than older PrintNow program I used to send. It is located in Tsr_prog sub folder called ‘Printkey’. Use your ‘WinZip’ program to open this file. ‘WinZip’ is a Free download on Web if you don’t have it yet.

Unzip ‘PRNTKY.ZIP’ program to a root folder on your hard disk called ‘PrintKey’ so you can find it later.

Click on PrintKey.exe in that folder to start it the first time. I suggest you create a shortcut to this file and then add it to your Startup folder on the Programs menu. Then your Prt Scrn key will be working when you turn on your PC the next time.

This New program will capture a 'Dos Window in Windows', like the Newpipe Pipe Graphic below. Then you can switch colors to Grays and / or invert colors for a slick black text on white background, so you save toner on Color printers for example.

It can be configured to do that for you, then all you have to do is start a program like Newpipe, go to pipe drawing screen, press 'Alt + Enter' key together to put Dos screen in a ‘Dos Window in Windows’ then click the mouse once inside the new window and press the  ‘Prt Scrn’ key to capture and print.

Be sure to set the "Color Depth"  to color depth of your monitor in this program, like "32 bit (64 colors)" for example for best captures.

SLICK and fast. Works on all Dos programs once you put them in a Dos Window in Windows. Also it works Great, of course, on all Windows screens too. You'll find it Very useful for capturing on line graphics too.

Many features, try them all and use ones you like for your printing.

Below is graphic example of using PrintKey program in Windows 95-98 or ME.
This will not work in Windows XP or above, on 'Dos Graphic Screens'. Bill Gates left it out the of newer Windows Version programs.

Above picture shows a 'Dos Window in Windows' and then a PrintKey capture of same window. Note: .... It will print in Color or Grey scale as you may want.

Note:... You cannot print directly to a USB port from "Inside any DOS program", thanks to you Bill Gates.

Again, DOS does not recognize any USB port . You can only print to a Serial (LPT1) port  from 'Inside' a DOS program !

ENJOY
